Mental Health

Mental Health is a tricky subject. Some people might not understand the stigma that can be attached to this issue.

Some might not understand the importance of it. And some might not understand how it’s different from mental illness.

What is the difference between mental health and mental illness?

Well, mental health is a state of well-being, where an individual is functioning at his or her best, mentally, emotionally, and socially.

Mental illness, on the other hand, is a condition of the mind or behavior that impairs functioning, causes distress, or is associated with significant distress or disability.
