Food Allergy

Food allergy is a medical condition in which the immune system reacts abnormally to certain types of food.

It can cause a range of symptoms, from mild to severe, and can sometimes be life-threatening.

There are several types of food allergies, but the most common ones include allergies to peanuts, tree nuts, milk, eggs, wheat, soy, fish, and shellfish.

These types of allergies are known as “true” food allergies because they are triggered by proteins in the food that the body recognizes as foreign.
