Cognition refers to the mental processes and activities that are involved in acquiring, processing, storing, and using information.

These processes include perception, attention, memory, reasoning, problem-solving, and decision-making

Perception is the process by which we interpret sensory information from the environment and make sense of it.

Attention is the ability to selectively focus on specific stimuli and ignore others. Memory is the ability to encode, store, and retrieve information.

 Problem-solving is the process of finding a solution to a problem.
